Joppa Elementary fifth grade classes had the opportunity to listen to guest speaker, John Coatney, Paratrooper during the Cold War. Students had a wonderful hands on experience learning from their special guest.
In addition to the 5th grade military visitor, students wrote letters to area veterans thanking them for their service.
